Section 170: Statute of limitation

1) There shall be no statute of limitation for making a complaint in relation to any of the offences referred to in Sections 163 and 164.

2)  No complaint shall lie after the expiry of six months from the date of commission of the offence referred to in Section 167 or from the date of release of the concerned person from arrest, control, custody, detention, imprisonment or preventive detention and from the date of knowledge of commission of any of the other offences referred to in this Chapter.
