Section 648: Indirect or quasi-contract deemed to be made

1) Notwithstanding anything contained in Chapter 2 of this Part, if any person does any certain, lawful, voluntary, or unilateral act that may give rise to a juridical relationship, an indirect or quasi-contract shall be deemed to be made.

2) If an indirect or quasi-contract is made pursuant to sub-section (1), an obligation under this Chapter shall be created from the same fact.
