Section 61: Prohibition of breach of order issued to prevent or disperse unlawful assembly

1) Where a competent authority makes an order to prevent or disperse an unlawful assembly, no person shall participate in or continue such assembly.

2) A person who continues in, participates in, or joins an unlawful assembly under sub-section (1) shall be liable to a sentence of imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or a fine not exceeding ten thousand rupees or with both.
