Section 118: Rights of son, daughter remain to exist

1) Notwithstanding that the matrimonial relationship between the husband and wife is extinguished pursuant to this Chapter, the legal rights of the son, daughter born from them vis-à-vis the father, mother and the obligation of the father, mother vis-à-vis him or her shall remain in existence.

2) In spite of the father and mother of a person being incapable of becoming husband and wife in accordance with this Act, the legal rights of the son, daughter born from them vis-à-vis the father, mother and the obligation of the father, mother vis-à-vis him or her shall remain in existence.
