Section 231: Partition to be so effected as to have provision of way or passage

While effecting partition, if there is no access to a way or passage to a house or land partitioned to a coparcener and if such way or passage can be managed from the land of another coparcener, partition shall be so effected that the concerned coparcener shall have to provide the way or passage for access to such house or land.
