Section 43: One and half punishment for consolidated/integrated offence

1) Where a person, at the time of judgment by a court, is convicted of more than one offence on a single occasion or different offences on different occasions, such person shall be deemed to have committed a consolidated offence.

2) The offender who commits a consolidated offence referred to in sub-section (1) shall be sentenced for the offence punishable by the maximum punishment and to additional punishment of one half of that punishment specified for such offence.
