1) The capital of Nepal shall be situated in Kathmandu.

2) The capital of a State under this Constitution shall be as decided by a two-thirds majority of the number of the then members of the concerned State Assembly.

3) The business of a State shall be conducted through the place as specified by the Government of Nepal until a decision is made in accordance with clause (2).
