Section 240: Statute of limitation

1) There shall be no statute of limitation for filing a complaint if death is caused from any of the acts referred to in sub-section (4) of Section 230, Section 231, Section 232, sub-section (4) of Section 233, Section 235, and sub-section (4) of Section 238.

2) No complaint shall lie after one year from the date of knowledge of commission of the offence under sub-section (1) of Section 230, and after six months from the date of commission of any of the other offences under this Chapter.
