Section 383: House deemed to be rented

If a person who has the right, possession, or ownership of a house lends the house for rent to another person to use it for a certain period of time, the person shall be deemed to rent the house.

Explanation: For the purposes of this Chapter, the term “house” means any house, story, unit, or room of the house, or land or cartilage occupied by such a house.
