Section 124: Prohibition of committing public nuisance

1) Except as otherwise provided in a law, no person shall do any act or omit to do any act legally required to be done, which causes any harm, injury, nuisance, danger or annoyance to the public or to the people who dwell in the vicinity.

2) A person who commits the offence referred to in sub-section (1) shall be liable to a sentence of fine not exceeding twenty-five thousand rupees.
