Section 153: To be curator of minor

1) If any minor does not have any guardian as referred to in Chapter 6 of this Part, any person may act in the capacity of curator of such a minor for the maintenance, health, education, care of, and protection of property belonging to him or her, until the minor attains eighteen years of age.

2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), a person may appoint any one as a curator for the maintenance, health, education and care of his or her minor.
