Section 186: Order for compensation to be paid

If any harm, injury or loss is caused to the body, life or property of any person from the commission of any offence referred to in this Chapter, a reasonable compensation for such harm, injury or loss shall be ordered to be paid by the offender to the victim and to his or her successor if the victim is unavailable.
