Section 178: Entitlements and rights of adopted son or daughter

1) The entitlements, rights, obligations and responsibilities of an adopted son or daughter shall be the same as those of a biological son or daughter of the adoptive person.

2) Even if a son or daughter is born to a person who has already adopted a person, the equal status of such adopted son or adopted daughter to that of a biological son or daughter shall not be prejudiced thereby.
