Section 675: Employer to bear liability

1) Any person, firm, company or organisation that employs a domestic helper, other worker or employee in work shall be liable for the loss or damage to another person, if any, resulting from any act done in good faith by such a helper, worker or employee in the course of doing such work.

2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the worker or employee shall be personally liable for any act which he or she has done negligently or dishonestly.
