Section 272: Circumstances when possessory right is extinguished

The possessory right of a person over a property shall be deemed to have been extinguished in any of the following circumstances:

(a) If the person abandons the property,

(b) If the person transfers the property,

(c) If the property is destroyed or becomes useless.
