Section 425: Right in property may be transferred by attorney

1) If a person appoints another person, who is competent to be an attorney in accordance with law, as his or her authorized attorney indicating the reason that he or she is not able to appear in person before the concerned office in order to sell and transfer his or her immovable property, such an authorized attorney may, on his or her behalf, sell and transfer his or her property to another person.

2) A person may sell his or her movable property through his or her attorney or agent.
