Section 89: Appointment of a Liquidator

1) In case of revocation of a Cooperative Organisation pursuant to Section 88, the Registrar or the authority authorised by the Registrar shall appoint a liquidator.

2) Notwithstanding anything contained in Sub-Section (1), the Registrar may appoint the authority authorised by the Registrar or an employee as liquidator in case of a Cooperative Organisation having the assets of the prescribed ceiling.
