Notwithstanding anything contained in the prevailing laws, if the person who provided information on the happening of the offence or possible happening of the same to initiate legal proceedings or to stop occurrence of an offence under this Act is an employee of a bank or financial institution, no action shall be taken on the ground of breach of secrecy in terms of his/her service rules, for the reason of his/her providing/doing the such cooperation.
