Section 53: Amendment to Procurement Contract

Unless otherwise provided for in the procurement contract, a procurement contract may be amended by the written consent of both parties, subject to non-alteration of the basic nature or scope of the work.

Provided that the procurement contract does not need to be amended, issuing a variation order pursuant to Section 54 or making a price adjustment in accordance with Section 55.
