Section 42: Special Provision Relating to Ration Procurement

1) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Act, the Public Entity in procuring a ration shall have to apply the procedure as prescribed in the following matters:

(a) Cost estimate and approval thereof,

(b) Price-escalation,

(d) Bid security,

(e) Submission of bid, and

(f) Other matter as prescribed.

2) Procedures other than those mentioned in sub-section (1) shall be as provided for in this Act.
