Section 23: Audit Committee

1) The Board shall form an audit committee, making the committee accountable to the board itself, which shall consist of following members:

(a)One director appointed by the board Convener
(b)Expert on the concerned subject nominated by the board Member

2) The Head of Internal Audit Department of the authority shall act as Secretary to the Audit committee.

3)  The functions, duties and powers of the Audit Committee shall be as prescribed in sub-section (1).
