1) Any foreign insurer may open a liaison (contact) office in Nepal after obtaining prior approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority.

Provided that such liaison office shall not undertake insurance business.

2) Other arrangements regarding the liaison office of foreign insurance companies shall be as prescribed.
