Section 9: Tenure of Chairperson and Members

1) The term of office of the Chairperson and the members appointed pursuant to clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (1) of Section 6 shall be four years from the date of appointment.

2) The Government of Nepal may, if it deems appropriate, re-appoint the Chairperson or a member for one additional term.
