Section 88: Right to give order with respect to Audit of Insurer

1) Authority may, if deemed necessary, order the auditor of the insurance company to carry out the following additional functions:

(a) To submit additional information as required by the Nepal Insurance Authority concerning auditing,

(b) To carry out other tests on specific matters as directed by the Nepal Insurance Authority or on matters recommended to the insurance company by the Nepal Insurance Authority.

2) All the expenses related to re-audit pursuant to sub-section (1) shall be borne by the concerned insurance company itself.
