Section 149: Labours to get first priority

Notwithstanding anything contained in other prevailing law, in case of closure or liquidation of any enterprise, the remuneration or other benefits due and payable to the labourers shall be paid with first priority.

Provided that where the insolvency law is applicable, it shall be dealt with accordingly.
