Section 6: Disclosure of Details

Unauthorised Translation

The entrepreneur shall disclose the following details regarding the goods or services offered for electronic trade on the electronic platform:-

(a) Details including the name, nature, design, trademark, shape or image of the goods or services available for electronic trade, or their combination, weight or underlying elements,

(b) Final selling price, including tax of the goods or services,

(c) Details of any additional charges incurred while transporting or transferring the goods,

(d) Information on any precautions to be taken while using the goods or services,

(e) Time and date required for transferring the goods or services,

(f) Means or method of payment for the goods or services,

(g) Period and conditions of warranty or guarantee of goods or services, if any,

(h) Person, firm, company, or institution producing the goods or providing the services,

(i) Country of production or processing of any imported goods or services,

(j) Details of any conditions to be followed after the purchase or sale of the goods or services,

(k) Any goods or services purchased, whether or not the product is refundable, and if so, the terms and conditions of the refund,

(l) If a service is sold, the place where the service is received and the terms of sale of the service,

(m) If a buyer requests a product or service, details of whether such a request can be cancelled before the product is dispatched or the service begins,

(n) The date of manufacture of the product, the date it must be consumed, and other necessary conditions,

(o) The main terms of the contract in a language that is understandable to the general public, and

(p) A mechanism for addressing customer reviews, ratings, complaints, and feedback.
