1) After establishing an electronic platform pursuant to Section 4, the entrepreneur shall apply electronically for listing on the electronic business portal established by the Department, along with the following details:

(a) Name, address, registered entity, and registration certificate number of the business,

(b) Name and identifying details of the proprietor concerned in the case of a business registered in a private firm, of the partner in the case of a business registered in a partnership firm, and of the director of the company or organisation in the case of a company or organisation,

(c) Clear details of the entrepreneur’s business,

(d) Value Added Tax Registration Number or Permanent Account Number,

(e) Telephone number, email, social media address (link), and contact address of the entrepreneur,

(f) If there is a branch or outlet, its number and location, and

(g) Other details mentioned in the electronic portal.

2) Entrepreneurs who are conducting electronic business at the time of commencement of this Act shall apply for listing on the electronic portal pursuant to sub-section (1) within three months from the date of commencement of this Act.

3) The Department shall provide the information, including the platform registration number, to the concerned entrepreneur electronically within seven days from the date of receipt of the application for listing on the electronic portal pursuant to sub-section (1) or (2).

4) If the listed entrepreneur changes any of its branches or outlets after being listed pursuant to sub-section (3), the details shall be updated on the electronic portal within seven days from the date of such change.
