Section 280: Prohibition of using as genuine a fraudulent document

1) No person shall, knowingly or having a reason to believe that a document is a fraudulent one, use such document as genuine.

2) A person who commits, or causes to be committed, the offence referred to in sub-section (1) shall be liable to the sentence in the same manner as if he or she had committed fraud.
