Section 205: Statute of limitation

No complaint shall lie, in the case of an offence under sub-section (3) of Section 200, after the expiry of three months or limitation from the date of commission of such offence, and in the case of any of the other offences under this Chapter, after the expiry of three months from the date of release of the detained person from such detention.
