Section 115: Prohibition of recklessness conduct with respect to constructing, demolishing or repairing buildings

1) No person shall, in constructing, demolishing or repairing a building, knowingly or recklessly omits to take such arrangement with that building as is necessary to guard against or prevent any probable danger to cause death of or grievous hurt to any one from such act or from the fall or collapse of that building or any part thereof.

2) A person who commits, or causes to be committed, the offence referred to in sub-section (1) shall be liable to a sentence of imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or a fine not exceeding ten thousand rupees or both the sentences.
