Section 48: Mourning leave

1) Where labour himself or herself has to mourn according to his or her religion or because his or her husband or wife dies or a married female worker has to mourn the death of her father or mother or father-in-law or mother-in-law, such labour shall get a mourning leave of thirteen days.

2) The labour who goes on the mourning leave referred to in sub-section (1) shall get full remuneration.
