Section 150A: Instructions On Prevention of Money Laundering Must Be Followed

¹1) A cooperative organisation shall comply with the instructions issued by the bodies under the prevailing law regarding the prevention of money laundering, terrorist acts, weapons of mass destruction, or their production and expansion.

2) The provisions under Sub-section (1) shall be equally applicable to cooperative organisations registered or operated under the provincial or local cooperative law.

3) The provincial government or local level shall implement or cause the instructions under Sub-section (1) to be implemented for the cooperative organisations registered or operated under Sub-section (2).

²4) The Registrar or an authorised officer from the Registrar may monitor and inspect the cooperative organisations as required, based on the risk, and take necessary action and punishment as per the prevailing law.
