Section 9: Formation of Specialised Cooperative Association

1) At least 25 multi-purpose or Sectoral organisations Registered pursuant to Section 15 may form together a specialised Cooperative Association for carrying out works requiring a large amount of investment and relating to hydropower, chemical fertilisers factory, residential projects, transport, heavy agro equipment, fruits processing, herbs processing, sugar industries, cold storage, hospital, college, technical schools, laboratory or to fulfil the demand of common needs of members. This shall not have the right to choose or to be chosen in any association or federation.

2) Its operational procedures shall be as prescribed.
