Section 68 : Directors required to be present

(1)Every director of a company shall be present in the general meeting as far as possible.

(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), if any director of a company is unable to attend the general meeting of the company in person due to circumstances beyond his control, he may attend the general meeting through video conference or other similar means and cast his vote.
