Section 12 : To be incorporated as public company to carry on some specific transactions

Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Act, a company carrying on banking business, financial business, insurance business, securities market business, retirement fund or mutual fund, telecommunication service provider with a paid up capital of more than Rs. Private companies that are currently registered must become public companies in accordance with this section within two years.
