Section 163: International Aid and Relation

1) The Authority shall represent Nepal in international institutions and organisations concerning insurance policies, insurance supervision and regulation, risk measurement, insurance claims, re-insurance, monitoring and other concerned subjects under its jurisdiction.

2) The Authority may provide services related to insurance supervision and regulation to foreign governments, foreign insurance regulatory bodies and international institutions and organisations, and it may also receive such service from them.

3) The Authority shall collaborate with international institutions and organisations and expand cooperation and relationships to achieve financial and economic stability through the regulation of international insurance.

4) The Authority shall take responsibility for works to be fulfilled and to be performed on behalf of its own country while taking part in the capacity of representative of Nepal in international institutions and organisations relating to insurance.
