Article 106: Secretary General and Secretary of the Federal Parliament

1) The President shall appoint the Secretary General of the House of Representatives on the recommendation of both the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Chairperson of the National Assembly, the Secretary of the House of Representatives on the recommendation of the Speaker, and the Secretary of the National Assembly on the recommendation of the Chairperson.

2) The qualification, functions, duties, powers, and other conditions of service of the Secretary General of the Federal Parliament, Secretary of the House of Representatives, and Secretary of the National Assembly shall be as provided for in the Federal law.
