Section 44C: Transaction With Financial Institutions or Banking Institutioins

1) the Government of Nepal may, in consultation with the Rastra Bank, by publishing a notification in the Nepal Gazette, make arrangements for the purchase, sale and other transactions of any services or goods of the prescribed value or above to be made only through financial institutions or banking instruments.

2) It shall be the duty of all concerned to ensure that the purchase, sale and other transaction of goods or services referred to in the notice pursuant to sub-section (1) are made through financial institutions or banking instruments without cash.
