Section 33: Punishment for Obstruction

Suppose any person obstructs the proceedings of the investigation. In that case, the adjudicating officer may, on the basis of the investigation officer’s report, punish him/her with a maximum imprisonment of six months and/or a maximum fine of five thousand rupees.
