Section 19B: Seizing Passport or Travel Document

1) Notwithstanding whatever is written in prevailing laws, the investigation officer may order the concerned entity to hold the passport or travel document of the person accused of the offence of money laundering or terrorist financing.

2) If it comes in writing pursuant to sub-section (1), the concerned body shall not issue a passport or traveller document in the name of such person if it has not been issued to such person and shall withhold the passport or traveller document of such person if it has been issued.
