Section 11: Establishment of the Department

1) The government of Nepal shall establish an Asset Laundering Investigation Department to investigate against and inquire into the offences under this Act.

2) The chief of the Department shall be at least a first-class officer of civil service.

3) The organisational structure of the Department and the required number of staff shall be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.

4) The Government of Nepal may make the required specialists available to the Department from the concerned entities or public institutions.
