Section1: Short Title, Extent, and Commencement

1) This Act may be called” Money (Asset) Laundering Prevention Act, 2008″.

2) The Act shall be applicable throughout Nepal and to any individual or corporate body, wherever may be residing or located, remitting, transferring or
sending assets from Nepal to abroad or abroad to Nepal obtained by the act, which is an offence under this Act.

3) The Act shall come into force immediately.
