Section 44B: Confidentiality Provision

1) Notwithstanding whatever is written in prevailing laws, no document, record, detail, notice or information stated to have remained confidential under the prevailing laws shall be confidential to the Department of Financial Information Unit for the performance of the duty under this Act.

2) For the purpose of sub-section (1), the concerned agency, official, or person shall make available the document, record, detail, notice or information if they were asked by the Department of Financial Information Unit specifying the objective.

3) According to the existing law, the investigation officer or Financial Information Unit will demand that the documents, records, details, information, or information be kept confidential. Other arrangements for providing such documents, records, details, and information will be made as prescribed.
