Section 39: Departmental Sanction to the Staff involved in Investigation and Inquiry

If any Investigation Officer or staff of the Department acts with the mala fide intention to cause troubles or tension to anyone in the course of investigating and inquiry of offences under this Act, the secretary of the concerned ministry, where the investigation officer is the chief of the department himself or the chief of the department, shall award departmental sanction notwithstanding whatever is mentioned in prevailing laws.
