Section 7W: Board of Directors

1) There shall be a Board of Directors as follows to monitor and review the effectiveness of the activities related to the prevention of financial investment in the creation and expansion of assets, terrorist acts or weapons of mass destruction:

(a) Minister of Finance, Government of Nepal Chair Person
(b) Law Minister of the Government of Nepal Member
(c) The Attorney General Member
(d) Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal Member
(e) Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank Member
(f) The Coordinating Committee, Coordinator Member
(g) Secretary, Ministry of  Law, Justice and Parliament Affairs Member
(h) Secretary, Ministry of Finance Member-Secretary

2) The Board of Directors shall meet once in three months.

3) The Chairperson of the Board shall determine the date, time, and place of the Board of Directors’ meeting.

4) The procedure of the meeting of the Board of Directors shall be as determined by the Committee itself.

5) The duties and powers of the Board of Directors shall be as follows:

(a) To review and recommend to the Government of Nepal the draft of the national policy and program received from the Coordination Committee regarding the prevention of finance investment in the creation and expansion  of assets, terrorist acts or weapons of mass destruction,

(b) To implement and review the national policies and programs received from the Coordinating Committee regarding the prevention of financial investment in the creation and expansion of assets, terrorist acts or weapons of mass destruction,

(c) To determine and coordinate the work to be carried out at the federal, provincial and local levels in relation to the prevention of financial investment in the purification of property, the creation and expansion of terrorist acts or weapons of mass destruction, and to create the necessary mechanisms for this purpose,

(d) To give necessary directions to the bodies concerned to implement or cause to be implemented the provisions pursuant to this Act regarding t
