Section 78A: Suspension of permanent account number

¹1) The Department may suspend the permanent account number in any of the following cases:-

a) If the transaction is left,

b) In the case of an entity, if it is closed, sold or transferred or such entity ceases to exist for any other reason. C) In the case of an individual ownership, if such owner dies,

c) In the case of registration of mistake.

2) The procedure for the suspension of the permanent account number shall be as prescribed.
