Section 87: Liquidator may accept or reject claims

1) The Liquidator shall, within 90 days from the date of submission of the claim pursuant to Section 86, inquire into the claims and accept or reject the claim fully or partially based on the evidence available, and information thereof shall be given to the claimant and public notice thereof shall also be published.

2) The claimant having his/her claim partially accepted or rejected pursuant to sub-section (1) shall, within 15 days from the date of publication of notice thereof, have to submit his/her claims again, enclosing the additional evidence, if any.

3) In case there is the need for any change in the claims made pursuant to sub-section (2), the Liquidator may change it partially or wholly.

4) In case the claimant is not satisfied with the decision of the Liquidator made pursuant to sub-section (1) or (3), the claimant may file an appeal at a court within 21 days of receiving the decision sent by the Liquidator.
