1) Before starting the arbitration proceedings, the arbitrator must affix his signature to two copies of a written oath as indicated in the schedule regarding impartiality and honesty, send one copy to the Appellate Court, and keep the other copy in the case file.

2) Before taking oath pursuant to sub-section (1), the arbitrator must make clear matters, if any, which raise a reasonable doubt about his /her impartiality or independence with respect to the dispute which he/she has to settle.
