Section 29: Power to Issue Standards or Directives

The Auditor General may be subject to this Act and the rules framed under this Act, and auditing standards or directives based on international auditing standards and prevailing good practices may be enforced to enhance auditing quality by making auditing objective, reliable, and valid.
