Section 19: Repeal and Saving

1) The Foreigners Act, 2015 (1958) is hereby repealed.

2) The acts done or actions taken under the Foreigners Act, 2015, and the Rules framed thereunder shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.

Note: (1) Words changed by the Certain Nepal Laws Amendment Act, 2063:

Instead of “Government of Mr. 5”, “Government of Nepal”.

(2) Words changed by the Administration of Justice Act, 2073:

Instead of “Court of Appeal”, “High Court”.
